Notes |
- Frederick was born 27th Dec 1888 and died at 9 months
I was not aware of his existence until I began to research the Jaffray tree when Marlene Williamson mentioned him
When my grand mother spoke of her "lost boys" perhaps she had him especially in mind.
The 1889 Parish of Rayne register shows that Fredrick Jaffray died at 5 am on the 27th Sept 1889 He is listed as illegitimate his mother Isabella Jaffray domestic servant Cause of death is given as congestion of lungs 7 days certified by A G Davidson MD The death is registered the next day Sept 28th at Rayne the registrar is Robert Leish
Just to read this brings on a feeling of immense sadness
